[ Glasgow 2014 ] Abugiri wins Ghana’s first medal

One Ghana’s Judoka in the ongoing Commonwealth Games has hauled the first bronze medal for the country in the men’s 60-kg category.

The 26year old Judoka defeated his Mozambican counterpart Neuso Sinauque in the Bronze Medal contest B competition.

Ashley McKenzie claimed gold for England with the silver medal going to Daniel Le Grange of South Africa.

Ghana is currently placed 7th on the medal table with England leading the table with 8 gold Medals.
